The First Book Community Platform brings together educators, youth-serving professionals, experts, and partners to share resources, ideas, and opportunities that support children in low-income communities.
Built with and for our member network, it's a dynamic space that grows alongside the people who use it. New content, events, and members are being added continuously.

The First Book Community Platform is designed first and foremost for educators and youth-serving professionals working with children in need. Their experiences, insights, and feedback actively shape what the platform becomes.
At the same time, we've made it possible for a broader community—supporters, partners, and lifelong learners—to engage with select content and events.
As the platform grows, so does its potential to connect people, ideas, and resources in powerful new ways.
Membership & access
Full members
First Book Members. Educators and professionals serving children in need receive full access to the platform—including live and on-demand events, expanded resources, funding & research opportunities, and deeper community engagement. First Book membership also means access to free and affordable books on the First Book Marketplace.
Guest access
Guest Users. Anyone can join as a guest to attend live events and explore a curated selection of First Book resources—offering a window into the platform and First Book's impactful resources.
